Stretchin' it ouhhh yaaa!

Hello beautiful people....
It's seems like I'm kinda actively writing again, wuhu! Okay so last time I posted I wrote about, what to do when you either don't have the time, the motivation or the game to play Starcraft
This time I'll cover the pre-game things.
It is stretching. In my opinion it is very important to stretch your fingers before playing Starcraft (or any other games that require APM). You'll probaly ask yourself:
"Why should I do it? It's kinda useless. I didn't do it and I can perfom well non the less." I am fine with that, I just try to get out some advices to you. It's not important to me if you use them or not. In the first place they are for me 'cause, as you may or may not know, my hands and my left arm are pretty f***ed up.
My fingers need to be stretched and my arm needs a bandage otherwise my fingers hurt after "spamming" my avg. 200 APM per game. I'll start off with some basic stretching.
On the left side you can see this first very simple task.
It stretches the area right beneth your thump. At first you have to stretch your arm to the maximal extend. Secondly you take your left or right (or both) hands and form a fist. You take your thumb and stick it right into your fist-formed fingers like you can see in the 3rd picture.
The final task is it to bend your fist downwards. It's important to not do it overly fast. You should take it a little bit slower just to not get hurt.

The pictureseries on the right shows an even easier stretching-task. You just need your hand formed (again) as a fist. as you can see in the first picture. The only thing you have to do is pulling your fingers so you form a normal hand again. I actually have a hard time to explain it but just try it and do it SLOW, thats the trick, doing it SLOW!
Anyways, I am done for today :P

Apparently Missionred

stopped working directly after I created this post....
Ingame Screenshot of me kicking ass
I was kinda upset but I sure found a new game that you (and me) can use to increase the accuracy of the mousemovement.
It was posted a long time ago on www.teamliquid.net but I never really noticed up until now (..as I said my normal warmup dissapeared). It's called osu! and it's a totally different game. It's not about plopping growing blops, it's about hitting those buttons in the right order at the right time. You have to flow w/ the beat though
Famous players like Kawaiirice or Pokebunny use this game to increase their precision (they are pretty high in the international ranking).

Click here (Liquipediadownload) to get to the TL side where they present this game. It's including the site where you find the beatmaps on (this game comes w/out beatmaps), a Top 10 TL ranking and a youtube video to show you how to download a map. Here are the maps I prefer to use. If you like Drum and Bass you could be interested 'cause most of those songs / beatmaps are Technorelated (not my style at all).
Pendulum - The Vulture
Pendulum - Propane Nightmares
Pendulum - Watercolour
DJ Fresh - Gold Dust
Have fun with it :) I hope you enjoy it as much as I do

Since I am in somekind

of a slum right now...
Missionred Reaction TE
regarding the lack of PvZ skills and the lack of sleep I figured, why not trying out something fundamental?
So I started to think what could increase my gameplay without actually playing? For the ones of you who actually watch the stream of Dario 'TLO' Wünsch might already know this little application which is supposed (well not directly) to increase your mouse accuracy.
The picture on the right of this post shows an ingame screenshot of the game on which you can see those green circles. These circles pop up, grow and then finally shrink again. Your aim is it to click on those circles as fast as you can and, if possible, before they dissapear. If you let too many circles 'vanish' (5 in one level) you lost and you have to start over again. It is a very usefull skill to have, a very precise mouseclick! If you are interested in this game you can click the link in the end of this post.

Well, that's not enought, I thought, so I looked into my interface to search for any room which allows impovement. And I sure found one. I use the "Backspace - Method" to Larvainject, which means I have all my Hatches on one hotkey and all my queens on another hotkey. If I want to switch in between my Hatches I have to tap the (for me) Tab button. I like this Method very much but what buggs me is the lack of capability to switch to the Hatch I want as fast as possible.

For example I click through all my Hatches to see if they are injected and I sometimes spot an uninjected Hatch but I pressed so fast that I just missed it, so I have to do the whole thing again and tab several times to reach the Hatch of my desire. It takes alot of time and if I am not blessed taht day, I can miss the hatch another 2 times. I don't have the time in a game vs a skillfull player to click until I randomly find the right Hatch.

My solution is it to put the hatches on different hotkeys. 5 6 7 for example 'cause I need 1 for the combined hatches, 2 for queens and 3 4 for unit groups. It's very hard to keep clicking these hotkeys and it takes braincapacity that I usualy need for the game itself so it's really hard to get this anchored in my brain but I sure know that it helps me play properly if I my execution is good enough.

I think this was/ is a very usefull post (espc. the first application) and I hope you can enjoy this little game as much as I can ;) Here is the link to the game: http://missionred.com/

Chip Chup

Hello Ladys and Gens..
Basti "HomerJ" casting at his old place
As you may or may not know already, I first "published" this Blog on the HomerJ Forum. It's a german Starcraft 2 Community Forum which is organised by HomerJ (a german caster) and his Staff. However I am still a student and as a german student I have to do two weeks of "practice working" and I once wrote (in the beginng of my blog) "I can't imagine my future without E-Sport". So I figured to apply to this particular caster (HomerJ). The only deficit is that his headquaters are two hours away from my hometown. So if he's going to accept me I would have to life in a hotel for these two weeks. I hope to get that "job" anyways :) I am very excited.

My Blogentry is not finished yet, though. I still want to throw out some sick taste of music aswell as the announcement of me playing tourneys hoping to play vs a Starcraft celebrities. I signed in for the TakeTV online Homestorycup qualifier aswell as several Playhem Tourneys and the next GO4SC2! I hope I do somekind of achievment in one of them ;)
I promised a sick song right? Here you go folks.

Finally I'm not a disgrace anymore!!

Blizzard managed to promote me.. "It was about damn time"
Today I went on the ladder and I was like "Let's play ... euhh ... well... I suckk.." I go on and win 5 Games in a row and suddenly this..

Well what should I say.. I 'm really happy 'cause I deserve this fucking promition and I should've been promoted years ago.. F*cking Blizzsys.! Anyways guys this is all I am going to say for now..! :) See ya later!

30.11.2011

It was just like a lesson to me..

As I said plenty of times before..
I think it's rather unfair to rank me into Plat but I am very hard to myself and yesterday I lost to a guy I am not supposed to 'cause he 2 Base allined me and I felt like I controlled the game. I had his 3rd covered with lings and his main under mutaliskfire.. But I somehow managed to lose so my motivation was gone.. I was mad at myself and I went pretty nuts... In the end I was laying down doing many many benchpressings until I couldn't lift my arms anymore.. (which is actually not bad 'cause I want to work out more :P) Today I thought about it again and I went like.. I have the mechanics, I know what is happening, I have to have some major mistake somewhere... So I went into my replays to find out the major mistake I must be making.. It hurts to see myself lose, though -_-
And I suffer from the, prolly, most annoying problem a Zerg ever faced in his live OVERDRONE, TOO FEW LAVA, BAD SCOUTING, omg.. gotta improve though! :)

29.11.2011

Hey guy, I wanted to give you a quick update

about how much i fucking suck. Well that's all. My mindset is kinda screwed, I am still stuck in woodleague and yeah... nuthin more to be told lol!
PLUS Lol I am finally gettin a second account with new MMR which is not screwed over just like my account is right now x3 So MB blizzard is going to give me somekinda... aeh...i dunno..

Hard week is hard

2 Exams 3 Tests in 2 Days... #FML
Btw, what helped me through those days of a accumilated amount of 26 hours of sleep in 2 days is this unbelievably awesome song! ~~
Check it out!
I hope I'll find time to play this weekend I am very unpleased with myself not playing properly. I was not in Starcraft II for about 3 days so I'll prolly suck again but I have a huge amount of passion to play!
I actually canceled out a friends invitation to randomly drink some alcohol. So yeah! I have the time! + I have a new handy, It's coool!

14.11.2011

Using that school usefully!

Todays day was boring as f*ck....
It was really really boring.
and since I was not able to play during the past days, 'cause I had to play some CoD aswell as going out with friends, I started feeling dragged to SCII again. So I wrote down some theorycrafting of an early third against Terran and the perfectionation of the Muta Ling against Toss. Just wanted to post those pictures of my work here!
Furthermore I wanted to post some Videos of MW3 here so you can see what I am doing right now. I'll be playing SCII as soon as possible!

Just wanted to give a quick...

Update on what I'm doing!
After watching the astonishing performance of EG.IdrA at the Asus ROG-tournament and after drinking a whole bunch of energydrinks I went on Laddering and I did pretty decent. Not as good as I wanted it to go but decent. (I'm pretty damn hard to myself) I ended up winning 15 out of 24 games, I think that's fine. Anyways I started working out again which is helping me 'cause I feel good and I'm able to ladder more =D.
I don't know what happened actually I just stood up and laddered, it felt right, somehow. Trying to make that again! ;)

Update: Got my exam back today x3 So I am doing good in school, too! That's sick!
I hope you still enjoy my quick updates I certainly have nothing else to update on so I just post a bunch of IRL pics.
Hopefully I'll get promoted soon.

Heart of the Swarm

It is going to be AWESOME!...
I'll start off with the Protossunits.
The first unit Blizzard released in their trailer is the shillouette of the airunit which looks like a phoenix.
On the first look the unit is only able to splash in the air. I can't see another reason for this unit to exist then no reason LoL. The unit is in my opinion totally senseless cause they only defend mutalisks in a high number. They'll maybe give this unit another ability besides splashing so the unit has more reasoning to be implemented.
The next Unit blizzard presented in their trailer looks like some sort of a Sentry but the usage is a little different. The 'Replicant' copies a selected non-massive unit of the enemy, probably for a certain amount of time 'cause the Unit would be deadly OP if the mindcontroll would exist forever. Furthermore this units are able to denie mining through blocking the mineralpadges with some sort of a forcefield. Another important point for the Protoss is the new Nexus. The Nexus spawns with more energy then before and will grant the Protossplayer a new spell which casts a shield on a building aswell as somesort of an defensive cannon to help Protoss defend Drops easily.

Next up are the Terrans...
Terrans will not have such big changes as the Protoss have rechieved.
"The Battlemech". The battlemech is a transformed version of the hellion. It will be granted additional HP, more DPS but also a decrease in the movementspead aswell as the spread. The Battlehellion will work as a new "Firebat".

The "Warhound" is a Unit to help Terran defend the fearsome Protossdeathball. It will be able to deal aditional damage against mech. Units and deal AOE (area of effect) damage on Airunits. The unit looks and behaves like a mixture of a Goliath, a Marauder and a Thor.
Besides the 2 new Units the Terranrace will be able to research a speedboost for the Battlecruiser which is supposed to help the Terran to become a better positioning in the very Lategame.

Finally the Zergs and I have to say those new Units look deadly OP.
The.... Lurker?!.. :)
This is one of the new Zerg-Units in Heart of the swarm. The Unit will simply work like a SC1 Lurker. You will be able to maintain a possition on the Map while burrowed. The Unit shoots out "broodlings" which will attack any buildings and Units that are near the .... Lurker... I think it will only be able to attack while burrowed. The unit will be used as ther perfect Siegebreaker agains a Terran opponten whos has no to waste.

The next Unit that was released is the by far funniest unit I've ever seen. It's a new Zerg Air-Unit which allows the Zerg Player to grap any enemy unit and pull them towards the Zerg (or away depends where the unit is standing). It will be so much fun to simply pull those Tanks up on the highground to rape them appart :). In connection with Neural parasite you'll be able to get all the hightech dmgdealing units out of your opponents army to use them yourself and possibly kill them.
Besides those two AWESOME - srsly - GOD DAMN F*CKING AWESOME FUN units Zerg will be able to research the funniest sh*t I've ever seen. The Ultralisk will now be able to charge towards the enemies units while beeing burrowed. Omg, that's really f*cking OP! :)
Can't wait for HOTS guys, can't wait :)

Doing good..

I trained pretty hard the last days...with my friend 'Plums (Masterleague)', the guy I mentioned earlier, so I improved alot in my multitasking, macroing - the basics - So I forced him to tell me that I have to Ladder. So I forced myself to ladder the whole day and yeah. I'm simply outclassing the retards in my league. I'll roll over my opponents with a 200 supply baneling army when they only have 20. So I managed to do this. (Mark - the losses are only 6Pool Worker allin T.T) So that was decently good and I thinkg that I'm easily able to get into Diamand so I cann reach my first AIM! :) *cheers* That's all for today no extra knowledge to share with you :)
As far (BTW I'm still working on the questions for my interview and I don't want to annoy the EAS-Players during them playing for the EPS. Hope you don't mind but I will do those interviews for sure!

ESL SkillCup :)

Today I played the ESL SkillCup

and I met my mortal enemy, the Protoss 2 Base 'X'-Gate + 'X'-Upgrade + evtl. Robo push. I only lost to this one push. Anyways, I managed to get 3rd Place in the ESL Skillcup. Here are my Replays of the Cup. :)
Round #1 vs Zerg
Round #2 vs Protoss
Round #3 vs Zerg
Round #4 vs Zerg (Quaterfinals)
Round #5 vs A-Move Toss G1
Round #5 vs A-Move Toss G2
Round #6 vs Protoss 3rd Place Game

Just a note: I lost to a 5 Gate into 9 Gate with 50 APM - Thats how easy Protoss is. Thx bye

Well I stuck to my guns...

sheet of paper I mentioned
Terran Terran, Cheese cheese chesse...
Okay yesterday I spend the whole day on practicing the build I posted and you can clearly see my progress. I told my good buddy "Plums" - a Masterleague Terran - to cheese the f*ck out of me! He 2Raxed, 3Raxed, Reactorhellions, Reaperexpand, Doublefactory Hellion and all the other fancy shit Terran has to offer. In the beginning I had to think so much about the build that I wasn't able to play properly good I had to look up on to the sheet of paper I sticked on my screen. I went into panicmode, gathered about 1k overmins (Minerals that are not spend) and eventually defend the push but I was a year behind in workers, tech and bases. Here are the first seven Replays of me failing totally hardcore. The next problem I had was if I was able to survive the first push I lost to a simple double drop.

Game #4 Hellion
Game #5 BO Fucked up
Game #6 3Rax allin
Game #7 Dropplay

The Replays are uploaded on www.gamereplays.org just so you know where I uploaded the replays for you. =D
After I got my bud r*ped I tried to analyse what's my biggest problem. I am able to defend a Reaper easily, Hellions are not that frightening eitther but a 2Rax is still unholdable for me. Even if I scout the 2 Rax I get destructed so I figured: "Dude srlsy, just 2 Rax me and as a follow up you drop with whatever you want - Hellion drop, Banshee, normal followup..." So we literally made 7 Games 2Rax over and over again so I can try to defend it. I wasn't able and I didnt't thought about winnig at all but I was able to improve my build, drastically! Here are the replays of me getting destroyed!

After I had several games to train the Buildorder I thought that I was ready to make another game "real" game against him and it went pretty decent. Pretty decent game
I sadly lost 4 Drones which was a too big lost but it was okay I simply lost just because I hadn't grouped my surroundgroup. It was - as I wrote above - an okay game. I did not get stomped so.. thats fine! It wasn't even close though but... It was an improvement!
So as far as my progress against Terran goes it's okay! :D I have to look for a Protoss and a Zerg to improve those Matchups.
I'm pretty happy.
If you don't trust my replays, here is my Gamereplay-Video with all the Replays I uploaded so. HF watching them if you want. I'm out!

My matchups...

As I wrote in the last post...
I am capable of playing like a cheesy buggah (14 gas 14 pool 19 expand - stop drone @15 - only Zerglings -> Kill dat EXPANSION [vs. P] or Sunkenrush into Nydus and so on) but playing Zerg like an abusive Terran doesn't make me progress in my skill. So my first matchup I'm trying to progress in is ZvP.

In my ZvP I like to copy the play of Stephano alot because he likes to build up a ridiculous amount of corrupters to prevent a big Protoss D-Ball from happening.

Basic Openings:
[1] 14 Gas 14 Pool 19 Expand (rather small maps)
[2] 15 Hatch 15 Pool 14 Gas (makro map)
(follow up) -> *Scouting* depending on the scouted buildings:

  - FFE -> 3Hatch 1Gas
   - 1GateFE -> 3Hatch 1Gas (Scouting = essentiall - awareness of techroute
    - 3GateFE -> 3Hatch 1Gas + Spines (possible 3Gate aggression)

-> Aiming on a macro game!

General gameplan:

Opening up savely - making sure to not die agains 4,5,6,7,8,9 - Gate/ 6 Gate + robo / 6 Gate +1 attacks etc --> PROPER SCOUTING <-- with roaches + spines

Double evo chamber (long term makrogame) Roach Upgrades + Early spire

-> attack with enough corrupter to snipe all collossi (fly into mainbase above robotics and snipe spawned = best harras!) -> good exchange (research OL dropp to make dem enemys go nuts) -> take enough bases to replenish -> T3 -> BL Infestor Corrupter!

The 3 Hatch tactic from TL
WIN!

against Terran it's a littlebit more difficult. The opening can be the same but especially if you're not playing against Korean Terrans, that are more confident with playing Tank Marine instead of the mass Mech play, you have to conter the tactic of your enemy.

Against a Terran I'll open up with the regular 15 Hatch - 15 Pool  - 14 Gas and then I'll adept a lot from EG.IdrA and DongRaeGu because I like to rely on Mutaliskcontroll. If I am up against a meching Terran I'll copy alot from NeasTea, Losira and Leenock!

Basic Opening:
[1 and only]: 15 Hatch - 15 Pool
*note* Terran is easy so when hatch finishes SPINE! - prevent hellionsdamage - and park an overlord above the hatchery to see bunkers that are getting placed near the hatch.

Next moves depend on the scouted building. Either Tank Marine [A] or Mech [B]
[A] - IdrA Style: 15 Hatch / 15 Pool / 18 OL / 18 Gas / 2xQueen (Spine at the expansion) 3rd Queen after the Queen at the Nat. finished/ @100 Gas Speed @100 Gas Lair 2nd + 3rd Gas directly after starting / @50 Gas Banelingnest / 2nd Scout with a ling and or OL (IMPORTANT)! @100% Lair - MUTALISK - Ling all over the map to see when enemy moves out - takes expand /
>ON MAP LIKE SHATTERED OR ZEL NAGA WHERE NO FAST 3rd POSSIBLE: put makrohatch in your main - only take 1 chamber and make +1 until 3rd base goes up<

Gameplan: Defend 2Rax / Defend Reactorhellion / Defend Blueflame -> Have a big f*cking advantage -> Stay defensive + good creepspread + Banelings starting when the push is coming / PERFECT MAPCONTROLL / Mutaharrasement / If he bunkers the fuck out of the map - OL DROP, Nydusworm mutalisk to pull opponent oop / Many upgrades! / Early T3 -
IF you are able to grap the early 3rd before inbase hatch --------------

The [B] approach will follow aswell I did not want to spam too much :)

ZvZ
For ZvZ I have no real inspiration besides IdrA ZvZ is still kinda unexplored and especially after the Infestornerf the matchup is more voletile again.
My basic BO
[1] 14Gas 14 Pool 19 Expand
and than it kinda stopps ... depending on the enemies unitcomposition
I'll follow it up with a Roachwarren and (IF BANELINGS) I'll place 1 - 2 Spines. If no aggression happends I am able to apply aggression with my Zerglings.
Early Evochamber! Trying to get ahead through playing good. I have to keep scouting the EXP. and the unitcomposition aswell as the Drones and the Tech with an Overseer!
~ as far as this goes I'll post up my matches in the next post!

Do I need a BO as Zerg?

Yesterday I spend my day playing...
costumgames against Diamand and Master Terrans / Protoss and their attacks reached my base so insanely fast. I struggled with a real buildorder to follow. As Zerg I usually played 15 Hatch 16 Pool 15 Gas against Terran but I had no real follow up except for me improvising. I overdroned without knowing what my opponend would be doing, I used to tech way too hard on 2 base (quadgase lair + warren + doubleupgrades) and I normally had a lack of T2 I used to forget about it pretty darn often...
Normally I used many different strategies in the ladder but they were all improvable and not executed as well as they could have. (of course it's nice to have the occasional cheese prepared to screw a greedy oppnent of but you don't improve through 14gas 14pool mass Zergling or 6Pool)
So now I am trying out a different approach: (I actually hate monotony, that's why I played such unpredictable builds on the ladder [SUNKENRUSH *trololol*], that's why I have not tried this way of training.)
1. Finding a proper build for each matchup combined with a solid lategame plan.
2. Going on the ladder, playing those builds over and over again and prefection them

3. Watching / Uploading the replays and reacting on the individual possibilities that could occur
for EXP. the ability to protect myself against a bunkerrush / 2 Gate / Voidrays / DTs / Hellions etc. I have to be able to defent everything with the build!

4. The most important fact! I have to feel COMFTABLE with it. If it doesnt fit my style (I play somekind of a clear style - I don't like playing bit Roach some Lings Infestor that's why I don't like Stephano's playstyle)

I'll write the tactics I am going to use in my next post so stay tuned

Get hyped...

I have a little story to tell..
As I played World of Warcraft (WoW) I realised an existing tool that you - as the average gamer  - can abuse. I call it the "WINDOW OF EXCITEMENT".
Okay, I'll illustrate it for you. Imagine: "You have the maximum gear that you are possibly able to get and you are totally bored of the game because there is nothing more to achieve so you go on youtube and randomly hit this video called:" OMGZOR best PvP Warrior ever ". You watch the video and during you watch it you realise "Warrior is pretty epic!" In this moment a WOE (window of excitement) is opening up for you. You (or I) immediately started twinking (a Twink = a second charackter besides your main char).
You have to find a WOE in Starcraft 2 so you are able to have enough enjoyment playing Starcraft. Starcraft is ment to be fun not raging and b*tching about it.
For me the big WOE opened up TODAY.
EG.IdrA winning 4:3 over SlayerS_BoxerHis mortal enemy in an INf*ckinTENSE series in some close battles. It was actually the first time I really really went crazy rooting for IdrA because it seemed like he would fall back into his old TILDMODE but he fighted and hang on in those games to finally pull of a BEAUTIFULL win.
For a moment I refused to play Zerg but see IdrA winning makes my heart GLOW!

Interview 'em all!

German ESL Amateure Series DIV. 1.
AI Rmdx
That is one of my big future plans. I want to reach at least the first Division of the EAS (ESL Amateure Series). So I questioned myself: "What could help me getting into the EAS?" and I figured it would be awesome to interview the current EAS players. I went on to Rmdx's stream and asked him if he would like to get interviewed by me so I can share my problems with him and his answers with you and guess what? He agreed!
At the moment I'm thinking about good questions for him to, in the end, produce  a fine Interview. The downside he actually forgot his mic at take's house (http://taketv.net/) so I wont be able to do the interview in the near near future.
KnowMe
After having Rmdx to give me an interview I asked KnowMe for an interview because he's one of the favourites to get into the EPS (Esl Pro Series) and one of the nicest people on the internet. He agreed aswell!
So I am figuring out questions for both of them (I don't want to waste their time for nothing :)) and I am looking for a way to get the soundfiles from skype and a way to upload them. If the interviews are finished I'll write a new post on my blog but until I have enough questions to fill 10 mins I have to ladder :)
Rank #1 I'm on my way.

Find the music..

...that fits your mood!
Heysen! Today I learned an important lesson and I'd like to share it with you! I was totally exhausted the whole day and I'd rather go to bed instead of loading up my Starcraft II which would have been a total waste of time! I can't allow myself to chill a whole day without reaching anything.
So, I was just about to lay down and a friend messaged me. He sent me a link to a song of temp0 and for no apparent reason my tierdness just disappeared and I was totally awake =).
I insantly opened up a new playlist with enough songs to make a sick laddersession!
Here is the link of the playlist called "nerdy as fuckz" filled with WoW-Machinema and SCII songs from temp0 :) enjoy

The mental Wall...

Well hello Ladys and Gens,
Okay I am about to start my todays laddersession but before I am able to press the Oh so mighty "FIND MATCH" button I have to break through my mental wall which is holding me back. Some might question theirselves: "What is a mental Wall?!". Okay, let me tell you. A mental wall is a certain circumstance or fact which hinders your play and or let's your skill stagnate. For example your desk.
I personally perfom very poorly / do not get motivated if my desk looks messy:
desk transformation
My desk has to look tidy (just like in the picture) to make a good performance. Another HUGE mental wall is my mental state. I often perfom better when I manage to make sport, take a shower, stand up early and style my hair before I play. It's just a matter of selfconfidence that increases IRL and ingame. Breaking through those mental walls is important to become consistend in Ladderpractice. The by far biggest mental wall is the fear of losing games. I find myself sitting infront of my PC doing totally nothig instead of laddering because I don't want to screw my 55 - 29 statistics.
The "FIND MATCH" button

Everytime I do it I could punch myself in the face. So I made a rule that everyone else can applie when you have the same problems..
Noone looks you up and says "you sir have an awesome statistic" if you aren't at least a Masterlevel-Player.
Just fucking press that button! I'll do it, too! I know it's hard to say "I'm playin at least 15 games today even if I lose all of them it'll be fine because I learned something." but you seriously have to do it to get any major improvements.

Just a little different....

Not only Starcraft...
will be posted on this Blog I will also mix it up with some nice music I am listening too at the moment.
I am open to any kind of music so don't panic of me only posting Drum and Bass / Dubstep because I won't!
First of all I'd like to share my "amazing" grooveshark with you!
In my freetime / during my laddersessions I listen to either K-Pop / Rap
(Playlist: Click It! DO IT!)
or Drum and Bass / Dubstep (Playlist: CLICK DAD SHIT BRAH).
But let's get back to my topic: My song of the day is obviously:

MyU - Starcraft 2 Player

Mark my words...
I wrote about the basics but who I am and what I planned was not posted yet so BEWARE:
Name: Max

~OKAY: This will also be the startingpoint of my Laddersessions. The VODs - Replays - the Progress will be uploaded to this BLOG. First of all my Ladder (recently went on a losing streak T.T normally I'm in 1st place ~ diamand level).

You see.. I'm that average kid crpling in the lower plat league.. so let's see how this evolves.
My first AIM is it to fucking get into the Diamondleague (Starcraft II Ladder is divided into 6 different levels: Bronze -> Silver -> Gold -> Platinum -> Diamand > Master -> (Grandmaster only Top 200)) I should be able to easily get into the Diamandleague 'cause the gap between Platinum and Diamand is pretty low - it's basically the same -.
My DEADLINE is the 29th October!

Starcraft 2 - How a Star is born!

Okay, let me tell you a story...
As I said in the previous post I am trying, - no building up - a career in the E-Sports scene and I also said that I picked Starcraft II as the game of choice. You've not gotten into the bann of SCII?! You sure should, you sure should.... First of all my close friend of mine, the one I played WoW with, talked me into it.. -.- thanks dude for screwing my Reallife! D=..

Okay anyways let's get back to the topic. Starcraft II is the new up and coming game in the big E-Sports brand. There are about 10 tiny cups a DAY where players play for 50€ up to 200€ (just like the Playhem Daylie-Cup Teamliquid Site of Playhemdaylie), a couple weekly cups (for example the GO4SC2-Cup from ESL [the Electronic Sports League] GO4SC2 Homepage) and even some really prestigieous monthly tournements like MLG (Major League Gaming) and the GSL (Global Starcraft League). These tournements are often connected with a huge offline (actually at the place the games happen) crowd and an even bigger online (on the streams of the certain event) crowd with around 50.000 up to even 100.000 viewers on the Championship Sunday (Semi-Finals + Finals) aswell as the GSL Grandfinal. The hype about SC II is bigger then ever expected...

There was a big fanbase for the predecessor (Starcraft Broodwar) in Southkorea which was considered to be insane. In Korea there is a TV-Channel just for Starcraft Broodwar eventhough the first release of the game was in 1998! This culture of E-Sportfanatics swapped over to the Europe with the big release of Starcraft II. The improved graphicsengine and the infrastructure of EU and NA allowed the game to get this popular. The culture that once was so strange is now soooo familiar.
In Stockholme (Sweden) they even meet for a regular session of Barcraft - a mixture of Starcraft and Bar - I have a picture from my Progamingfriend inFKaeru, photographing a bar watching SCII...

I think this is a fitting ending to this blog entry next up: my plans and my schedule
~ as always GG HF :3

The very beginning..

 Oh hai there,
didn't see you comin. But hi and thank you for taking some time of your precious life.
First of all: What is this shit about? I heared about people who enjoy reading blogs and I have some really really big future plans to share with you

but before I am going to start I'll give you some basic informations.
I am an average 16 year old guy from germany with a really small fetish for korean lifestyle. That's probably the reason why I enjoy E-Sports so damn much. I'm not nearly as good and I don't (sadly) play nearly as much as I'd like too. The school is actually kinda holding me back at the moment. Visiting the 11th class is pretty "lifedraining".

I'm addicted to videogames for really fucking long and since I realised that you can earn money in E-Sport my relation to competetive gaming has changed a whole lot. I used to play World of Warcraft. It's a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplay Game) - btw I am writing it out because I want to make my blog readable for everyone who is interested in the gaming scene just as much as I am but whos pretty much new - and i was addicted as F*CK! Me and my friends played it really really often, probably too often... but we had a really nice time and noone of us was ashamed to say "...I play World of Warcraft." our social community was always very tollerant with us playing WoW (shortening for World of Warcraft). But please do not imagine us as fat, dumb, pimply social retards 'cause we weren't. So I was in the onlinegaming scene for very long. I started WoW with the age of 13 and still managed it to get good marks in the "Gymnasium". And eventhough I was only 13 years old and had the voice of a little girl and the mind of a little kid (I'd write into the guildchat: "LOL I ONLY WANT GEAR FARMING AND THEN I'LL LEAVE BECAUSE I WANT TO HANG WITH MY FRIENDS") I managed to get in a major guild with the age of 14. WoW teached me to be mature, selfconfident and responsible. I was the Classleader [Mage] of a 25 men Raidguild which managed to get a couple of server firsts. It was hard especially when my "diciples" found out about my age =D. This confidence of finally speaking in Teamspeak - giving directions to ppl. who are averagely 10 years older - made me progress in school and especially in my RL. BTW I actually managed to find my old interface:3
After Playing WoW for about 3 years (we stoped because of the addon and school - both sucked :D) I played a whole lot of Call of Duty on Xbox but that was nothing really serious.. not as serious as wow.. to tell you more in detail about my CoD Montages would turn out to be a whole new story and I don't want to get of my topic.

I played games as long as I can remember. I grew up in a time where kids played, besides with the rather regular buildingblocks and toy cars, with gameboys. Yes, exactly, these 500kg big things which were called "Handhelds". So playing Need for Speed
The first f*cking GAMEBOY!
with my friends after coming home from playing "Hide and Seek" was pretty normal. But I figured that playin Videogames is just a bad habit like smoking and I'd have to stop playing if I wanted to actually become something in the future.
The moment I realised how big the E-Sport scene has grown ,since the early 1990s, and earning money / making a living of gaming is nothing unusual anymore made me think. Shall I give up my FAVOURITE thing in the whole world or should I still be playing in the future and try to go down the progaming route to become the best and beat the best, just like Ash from Pokémon Red and Blue?!
I decided that E-Sport should play (lol see that wordplay) a big role in my future and nontheless what I am doing (Progaming, Coaching, Casting or even managing an E-Sport clan) gaming should be a part of it!
Okay - Thanks for reading this far, stranger, I hope you enjoy my future posts about my "career" and my life.
