Stretchin' it ouhhh yaaa!

Hello beautiful people....
It's seems like I'm kinda actively writing again, wuhu! Okay so last time I posted I wrote about, what to do when you either don't have the time, the motivation or the game to play Starcraft
This time I'll cover the pre-game things.
It is stretching. In my opinion it is very important to stretch your fingers before playing Starcraft (or any other games that require APM). You'll probaly ask yourself:
"Why should I do it? It's kinda useless. I didn't do it and I can perfom well non the less." I am fine with that, I just try to get out some advices to you. It's not important to me if you use them or not. In the first place they are for me 'cause, as you may or may not know, my hands and my left arm are pretty f***ed up.
My fingers need to be stretched and my arm needs a bandage otherwise my fingers hurt after "spamming" my avg. 200 APM per game. I'll start off with some basic stretching.
On the left side you can see this first very simple task.
It stretches the area right beneth your thump. At first you have to stretch your arm to the maximal extend. Secondly you take your left or right (or both) hands and form a fist. You take your thumb and stick it right into your fist-formed fingers like you can see in the 3rd picture.
The final task is it to bend your fist downwards. It's important to not do it overly fast. You should take it a little bit slower just to not get hurt.

The pictureseries on the right shows an even easier stretching-task. You just need your hand formed (again) as a fist. as you can see in the first picture. The only thing you have to do is pulling your fingers so you form a normal hand again. I actually have a hard time to explain it but just try it and do it SLOW, thats the trick, doing it SLOW!
Anyways, I am done for today :P

Apparently Missionred

stopped working directly after I created this post....

I was kinda upset but I sure found a new game that you (and me) can use to increase the accuracy of the mousemovement.
It was posted a long time ago on www.teamliquid.net but I never really noticed up until now (..as I said my normal warmup dissapeared). It's called osu! and it's a totally different game. It's not about plopping growing blops, it's about hitting those buttons in the right order at the right time. You have to flow w/ the beat though
Famous players like Kawaiirice or Pokebunny use this game to increase their precision (they are pretty high in the international ranking).

Click here (Liquipediadownload) to get to the TL side where they present this game. It's including the site where you find the beatmaps on (this game comes w/out beatmaps), a Top 10 TL ranking and a youtube video to show you how to download a map. Here are the maps I prefer to use. If you like Drum and Bass you could be interested 'cause most of those songs / beatmaps are Technorelated (not my style at all).
Pendulum - The Vulture
Pendulum - Propane Nightmares
Pendulum - Watercolour
DJ Fresh - Gold Dust
Have fun with it :) I hope you enjoy it as much as I do

Since I am in somekind

of a slum right now...
Missionred Reaction TE
regarding the lack of PvZ skills and the lack of sleep I figured, why not trying out something fundamental?
So I started to think what could increase my gameplay without actually playing? For the ones of you who actually watch the stream of Dario 'TLO' Wünsch might already know this little application which is supposed (well not directly) to increase your mouse accuracy.
The picture on the right of this post shows an ingame screenshot of the game on which you can see those green circles. These circles pop up, grow and then finally shrink again. Your aim is it to click on those circles as fast as you can and, if possible, before they dissapear. If you let too many circles 'vanish' (5 in one level) you lost and you have to start over again. It is a very usefull skill to have, a very precise mouseclick! If you are interested in this game you can click the link in the end of this post.

Well, that's not enought, I thought, so I looked into my interface to search for any room which allows impovement. And I sure found one. I use the "Backspace - Method" to Larvainject, which means I have all my Hatches on one hotkey and all my queens on another hotkey. If I want to switch in between my Hatches I have to tap the (for me) Tab button. I like this Method very much but what buggs me is the lack of capability to switch to the Hatch I want as fast as possible.

For example I click through all my Hatches to see if they are injected and I sometimes spot an uninjected Hatch but I pressed so fast that I just missed it, so I have to do the whole thing again and tab several times to reach the Hatch of my desire. It takes alot of time and if I am not blessed taht day, I can miss the hatch another 2 times. I don't have the time in a game vs a skillfull player to click until I randomly find the right Hatch.

My solution is it to put the hatches on different hotkeys. 5 6 7 for example 'cause I need 1 for the combined hatches, 2 for queens and 3 4 for unit groups. It's very hard to keep clicking these hotkeys and it takes braincapacity that I usualy need for the game itself so it's really hard to get this anchored in my brain but I sure know that it helps me play properly if I my execution is good enough.

I think this was/ is a very usefull post (espc. the first application) and I hope you can enjoy this little game as much as I can ;) Here is the link to the game: http://missionred.com/

Chip Chup

Hello Ladys and Gens..
Basti "HomerJ" casting at his old place
As you may or may not know already, I first "published" this Blog on the HomerJ Forum. It's a german Starcraft 2 Community Forum which is organised by HomerJ (a german caster) and his Staff. However I am still a student and as a german student I have to do two weeks of "practice working" and I once wrote (in the beginng of my blog) "I can't imagine my future without E-Sport". So I figured to apply to this particular caster (HomerJ). The only deficit is that his headquaters are two hours away from my hometown. So if he's going to accept me I would have to life in a hotel for these two weeks. I hope to get that "job" anyways :) I am very excited.

My Blogentry is not finished yet, though. I still want to throw out some sick taste of music aswell as the announcement of me playing tourneys hoping to play vs a Starcraft celebrities. I signed in for the TakeTV online Homestorycup qualifier aswell as several Playhem Tourneys and the next GO4SC2! I hope I do somekind of achievment in one of them ;)
I promised a sick song right? Here you go folks.
