Winter Holidays

Not going to post anything till I am satisfied with my opponents and SC skill / until I am in masters!
But until that I want to satisfy you by posting the beautiful sight I call my home. Cya

Woah finally posting again!

I fought my way up to master mmr again! Yeha!
After a decently long break I had due to -illness and school- I am released to finally get ranked against a masters again. During the time of abstinence I recognised the following. I call it the 'anticlimatic vicious circle of starcraft II'.
You might think to yourself ... "the f****ck is this?!" but I'll explain. The meaning of the part "anticlimatic" in the theory is pretty clear. For example:
I am coming back from school, it's a beautifull day, I am totally awake - slept just the right amount - totally happy and hyped about Starcraft II. I say to myself "Let's go own the ladder!". So I press the Find Match button and I get ranked agains a Terran "wow going to be ez!". I am 10 minutes into the game I have 40 energy on my queens I have totally f*cked up economy and I all my sh*t is dying. "Wow f*ck this shit ..." *ALT F4* "No Starcraft T____T!"
My "perfect motivation" got ruined by one single lose. That's anticlimatic! = D
awesome paint skills
Now I'll explain the vicious circle you'll find yourself in if you have the same problem I am dealing with.
You start by beeing brought out of your regular trainingsrythm (illness, vacation, school or just beeing bored of sc2). The break leads into a loss of skill that can't be avoided.
If you now try to come back and for e.g. Ladder you'll realise that you SUCK and you don't like SUCKING at all! (well maybe you do....)
99% of the time you'll stop playing because you play really really bad. The negative effect of not playing is the lack of practice. You'll suffer a much larger drop off in your skilllevel due to the extended time you haven't played and the fact that you think you suck really really hard. (which is not helping to become better = D
You'll soon realize that you suck even more and you'll try to start playing again and WUMM! back in the circle again!
The question is "how to break out of the circle?"
......the answer is pretty easy.
PLAY GOD DAMMIT! I have to force myself to play. When I passed 3 games I am usually back into my 'old' shape. It is important (if you want to become good) to not get stuck into the viciouscircle too long. Some people are stuck in it for years (people that play tower defense all day long).
Hope you enjoyed this rather strange post if so, great, if not, I'll start writing about strategy again soon ^__^;; ~~
